The big show announcement is Zach Bryan, who is one of the biggest names in Americana/Country music right now performing at the CHI Health Center Arena on April, 29th, 2024. Check the CHI Health Center and Zach Bryan’s website on tickets. I think he makes things a bit complicated for the good reason of trying to keep scalpers out. Pre-sales have started though I think.

Mike Zito will be at The Waiting Room on Thursday, Dec. 7th Zito is a popular blues artist that has a long history with the members of the Blues Society of Omaha. Zito was scheduled to play the BSO 25th Anniversary Party this summer, but had to cancel his shows due to his wife Laura’s cancer advancing. She passed away in late July. No easy way to transition from that, but tickets to what will be a special show between Zito and his fans who have been incredibly supportive of him are on sale now at etix.com 

Lucifer is coming to The Waiting Room  with Coven and  Early Moods on November 19th.  Lucifer is a German metal band that has been around for about a decade and fronted by Johanna Sadonis. Interesting aside is that their drummer is the former singer of garage rock band The Helicopters (and also married to Sadonis). Coven is a band that started in the late 1960’s and had the hit song “One Tin Soldier” from the movie Billy Jack. The band is credited with inventing the devil horn hand sign, their album got pulled from shelves during the Manson murders and they have influenced a lot of acts.
