The big announcement this week is Laura Jane Grace will be at The Slowdown on January 2nd. I cannot tell you how excited I am for this AND a show on January 2nd as usually those first couple months of the year are dry and it bums me out. Laura Jane Grace is the front person for Against Me! And has an excellent catalog of solo recordings. Mya Byrne opens this show and tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10AM at TheSlowdown.com
Canadian EDM act Excision will bring the Nexus tour to Steelhouse on March 10th with tickets on sale now at SteelHouse.com
Popular Omaha based hard rock bands Arson City and Through Fire will combine their annual parties and take it to The Admiral on November 22nd for Citizen’s Havoc which will also feature music from classic hard rock bands Emphatic and The Wreckage. Also along for the ride is The Impulsive and Hooligan Gentlemen. Tickets on sale now at Etix.com and that one could easily be a sell out.
Big Head Todd and The Monsters return to Omaha to play at The Slowdown on January 11th with tickets on sale now at TheSlowdown.com
Popular Celtic music band Gaelic Storm will be at Steelhouse Omaha on March 6th and they will bring along the High Kings with them. Tickets on sale tomorrow at 9AM at Steelhouse.com
Skeez was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska and honestly I know nothing about this artist. They have like 300,000 monthly listeners and tens of millions of streams on Spotify and are doing something right. They will be at Waiting Room on November 14th with tickets going on sale tomorrow at 10AM at Etix.com
Also originally from Omaha, with some members still residing here is Neva Dinova and they will be playing a show at Reverb Lounge on December 14th with tickets going on sale Friday at 10AM at Etix.com
Kansas City blues artist Brandon Miller returns to the Waiting Room on November 30th. Last year Brandon won the Reader’s Choice Award for Best Musician in Kansas City Magazine. Tickets on sale now at Etix.com

Beth Hart has rescheduled her show for May 7th a The Admiral with tickets available now at TicketMaster.com
Brett Young was actually at Steelhouse Omaha the other night with fans in the room and opening bands performing, but he felt too ill to go onstage. This show is rescheduled for March 8th of next year at Steelhouse. Tickets good from last show or available at Ticketmaster.com
